Solar Geyser installations

PSGC Piping installs domestic solar water heaters registered on the Eskom DSM programme. (Demand Side Management) Since an electric geyser or water heater contributes up to 40% of your electricity bill, you might want to install a solar geyser in your new home.
We also retrofit existing conventional electric geysers with a stainless steel AC/DC element. This element is primarily powered by photovoltaic panels fitted to your to your roof. The panels are of course backed up by a 230 Volt AC supply controlled by a timer. No pipework is involved, the old geyser stays in place, no additional support structure is needed inside the roof and there are no roof leaks.

Furthermore a solar pump system is an environmentally friendly way of pumping water. Solar pumps are ideal for pumping the water from boreholes, as well as circulating water in ponds, fountains, water features, swimming pools, etc.
Maintenance & repairs
Not only do we supply and install solar geysers and solar pumps together with the necessary pipework, but we also maintain and repair such systems.
Maintenance of these systems includes inspecting the pipework to establish the condition of the pipes. We typically look for signs of wear, damage as well as leakage.
Should we find signs of wear, damage or leakage, we repair the piping. If the pipework is too damaged or worn, we replace the pipes.
